Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak teased a product launch with the message "Welcome home. October 13." Rather than a traditional keynote, some media have been invited to an "Apple Experience" in Tribeca, New York, at 9:00 a.m., and products may arrive by press release.

The headline product is rumored to be a smart home hub with a roughly 6-inch square display, built for multiple users and Siri AI. It would control smart home devices, handle FaceTime calls, and show video, news, weather and calendar events. Wall-mounted and speaker-base versions are expected, with pricing reportedly around $350.

A new Apple TV 4K (A19 or A19 Pro chip, more RAM, N1 networking chip, upgraded Siri Remote) and a refreshed HomePod mini are also expected. Bloomberg separately reports touchscreen MacBook Pros and more around October 27.
