Moonshot AI has unveiled Kimi K3.1 Pro, which it calls its most capable "3T-class" open-weight model to date, with a 1 million-token context window. A faster K3.1 Pro Highspeed variant runs at 2-3x the speed. Both are available now on Kimi.ai, the Kimi apps, Kimi Code and the API; full weights are promised by November 4, 2026.
Moonshot reports 65.7% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 (Claude Opus 5.5: 66.4%, GPT-6 Astra: 58.2%) and 92.7% on BenchCAD with tools. Its claim-level hallucination rate on Kimi Hallu Bench Hard fell to 8.3% from 23.4% for K3. The figures are the company's own and not independently verified.
The release makes a frontier-scale model with downloadable weights a near-term prospect, though the license terms have not been published. Enterprise admins must enable access, which is off by default.
