Dyson has released the CameraJet, a $499 toothbrush that uses a built-in camera and machine learning to find gaps between teeth and fire a targeted water jet to floss them automatically. The device went on sale September 1, 2026 and began shipping September 8.

A 100,000-pixel macro lens captures 28 images per second, feeding a model called Gap Optical Targeting that Dyson says was trained on 470,000 dental images and runs on 16 million lines of code. A 12.5ml anti-gravity mouthrinse tank pumps a conical jet at identified gaps while the dual-bristle head brushes, and RFID-tagged heads sync over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to a companion app.

The system, the product of six years of development, ships in Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink and includes a charging dock, travel case, toothpaste and mouthrinse. It marks Dyson's entry into oral care, a category dominated by Philips and Oral-B/Procter & Gamble.
