Apple raised US subscription prices for Apple TV and Apple One on August 28, effective immediately for new subscribers. The standalone Apple TV monthly plan rises from $12.99 to $14.99, while the annual plan jumps from $99 to $119. Existing subscribers will be notified about a month before the new price hits their bill.

The Apple One bundle, which combines iCloud+, Apple TV, Apple Music and Apple Arcade, climbs from $19.95 to $21.95 a month; Apple left its other Apple One tiers unchanged. This is the fourth Apple TV price increase in four years, and it follows a $1 hike to Apple Music in July that Apple attributed to rising licensing costs.

The move fits a broader pattern across streaming: Netflix raised prices in March and Peacock announced its own hike earlier this month. Apple has also been raising hardware prices as RAM and component shortages, driven partly by AI data center demand, squeeze margins across the tech industry.
