Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without signing in; the link and this browser are all you need. Signing in with a free TechTools account only adds a list of your shares that follows you across devices.
How long do links last?
You choose: 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year or never. Burn after reading deletes a share right after its first view, and a view limit deletes it after a set number of opens. You can delete or extend any share yourself under My shares.
How big can a share be?
Up to 250 MB per share, in up to 50 files of any type: photos, screenshots, videos, PDFs, documents, archives. Text and code snippets can be up to 4 MB.
Is it private?
Links use random keys nobody can guess, expire on your schedule and can be password-protected. With end-to-end encryption on, your browser encrypts everything with AES-256 and puts the key only in the link's #fragment, which browsers never send to the server, so we store ciphertext we cannot read.
Can I delete a share?
Yes. This browser keeps an owner token for every link you create; open My shares (or the share page itself) and press Delete. You can also shorten or extend the expiry there. Signed-in users manage their shares from any device.
Can scripts or AI agents use it?
Yes. One multipart POST to https://techtools.cz/paste-api/pastes returns the link, direct file URLs and an owner token; every option of the page is a form field. The full contract is published at techtools.cz/paste-api/docs.
