General Motors reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $50.0 billion, up 2.9% from a year earlier. Net income attributable to stockholders was $3.3 billion, while EBIT-adjusted rose 21.6% to $4.1 billion. Adjusted diluted EPS came in at $3.70, versus $2.80 a year ago and above the roughly $3.58 consensus.

The automaker completed its $6.0 billion buyback program and approved a new $20.0 billion multi-year authorization with no expiration date. It also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, payable December 17.

GM narrowed its full-year outlook: EBIT-adjusted of $14.5-15.5 billion (previously $14.0-16.0 billion), adjusted EPS of $12.75-13.75 (previously $12.00-14.00), and adjusted automotive free cash flow of $11.5-12.5 billion (previously $9.5-11.5 billion). The higher floors and raised cash-flow range signal growing confidence in the second half of the year.
