Anthropic's third-quarter revenue rose about 45% to roughly $16.8 billion, Reuters reported, citing an investor who attended a pre-IPO meeting. The figure has not been confirmed by the company.
The number is consistent with Bloomberg-attributed reports that put the previous quarter at about $11.5 billion, which would imply growth to nearly $17 billion. Reports say Anthropic is in an IPO quiet period and cannot publicly discuss its financials, so the figures come from leaks rather than company statements.
Quarterly revenue is a different measure from run-rate estimates, which have been reported at $19 billion and above $30 billion earlier this year. If the figure holds, it would underline how quickly Anthropic's business is scaling ahead of a possible listing.
