Anthropic is negotiating to acquire Decart AI, an Israeli startup building real-time video and world-model technology, in a deal worth roughly $6 billion. If finalized, it would be Anthropic's largest acquisition to date and its fifth of 2026.

Decart, founded in 2023 by Dean Leitersdorf, Orian Leitersdorf, and Moshe Shalev, develops AI models that generate interactive video in real time and proprietary software that optimizes GPU efficiency for AI training. The startup was valued near $4 billion after raising $300 million in May, up from $3.1 billion a year earlier, with backers including Nvidia and Adobe Ventures.

Decart's team would join Anthropic's inference and performance organization, helping the company manage surging compute costs ahead of an anticipated IPO. The talks have not concluded and could still fall through.
