Each file gets its own format and settings. Convert them one by one or all at once.
Only names, formats and sizes are kept, in this browser.
Images, video, audio, documents, spreadsheets and data, subtitles — plus the cross-overs people actually need: video to MP3, video to GIF, image to PDF, PDF to JPG.
Nearly everything runs inside your browser with WebAssembly. Your photos, videos and documents never leave your device, and there is no size limit but your memory.
Drop a folder, pick one format per file family, tune quality, size, trim or pages, convert everything at once and download it as a single ZIP.
Formats a browser cannot write — PDF from documents, PDF to Word, RTF, ODT, EPUB, PPTX, Opus — use pandoc, ffmpeg and ImageMagick on our server, with uploads deleted right after.
Every format converts to every other format in its family, and the families cross over where it makes sense.
Resize, quality, background colour, palette PNG, multi-size ICO, image to PDF, PNG to SVG vector tracing.
Resolution, quality, frame rate, trim, remove audio, video to GIF or animated WebP, one frame as JPG/PNG, video to any audio format.
Bitrate, sample rate, mono/stereo, trim, loudness normalisation, audio to MP4 video for YouTube.
PDF to text, Markdown, HTML or page images; Word, ODT, RTF and EPUB to HTML, Markdown, text or DOCX; anything to PDF.
Delimiter detection, Excel-friendly CSV, multi-sheet workbooks, JSON shapes, nested-object flattening, HTML tables.
SRT to VTT and back, ASS/SSA and YouTube SBV to SRT, plain transcripts, timing shift.
The conversions people reach for most — click one to preselect it.
Drop files or a whole folder onto the converter, click to browse, or paste an image from the clipboard. You can add many files at once.
Choose a format tile for each type of file — images, video, audio, documents, data or subtitles. Open Options for quality, size, trim or page settings.
Press Convert. Images, documents, spreadsheets and subtitles finish in a moment; video and audio use the in-browser media engine. Nothing is uploaded unless a format needs our server.
Save each file, or download everything as one ZIP. Preview, compare, copy or share the result straight from the row.
The most common reason a conversion disappoints is picking the wrong target. The short version of what each format is good at:
| If you want to… | Convert to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Share a photo anywhere | JPG | Universally supported and small. The safe default for photographs. |
| Keep a transparent background | PNG | Lossless with real transparency — right for logos, icons and screenshots. JPG cannot hold transparency at all. |
| Make web images smaller | WebP or AVIF | 25–50 % smaller than JPG at the same quality, with transparency. Every current browser reads WebP; AVIF is smaller still. |
| Play a video on any device | MP4 | The one video format phones, TVs, browsers and editors all accept. Convert MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV or FLV to MP4 when something refuses to play. |
| Put a short clip in a chat | GIF or WebP | GIF plays everywhere but is huge; animated WebP is far smaller. Trim to a few seconds either way. |
| Shrink an audio file | MP3 | Plays on literally everything. Converting FLAC or WAV to MP3 typically cuts the size by 80–90 %. |
| Edit audio without quality loss | WAV or FLAC | Both are lossless. WAV is uncompressed and universally editable; FLAC stores the same audio in roughly half the space. |
| Send a document that must look identical | Layout and fonts are locked in, so it looks the same on every machine. Best for invoices, contracts and CVs. | |
| Let someone edit the text | DOCX | Opens in Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages. Convert PDF to DOCX when you need to change wording. |
| Open a spreadsheet in Excel | XLSX | Keeps formatting and multiple sheets. CSV is plain text — fine for importing data, useless for layout. |
Drop your files onto the converter (or click to browse, or paste from the clipboard), pick the output format for each type of file, press Convert and download the results — one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Yes, completely: no account, no watermark, no daily limit and no paid tier. The page is supported by the ads on it, never by your files.
60+ formats in six families: images (JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG, ICO, PDF), video (MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPG, TS, 3GP, OGV, M4V, GIF), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF, AC3), documents (PDF, DOCX, ODT, RTF, TXT, Markdown, HTML, EPUB, PPTX), spreadsheets and data (CSV, TSV, XLSX, XLS, ODS, JSON, YAML, XML) and subtitles (SRT, VTT, ASS, SBV). Cross-family conversions such as video to MP3, video to GIF, image to PDF or PDF to JPG are included.
Almost never. Images, video, audio, GIF, PDF to text or images, Word to HTML, Markdown and text, spreadsheets, data files and subtitles are all converted inside your browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly — the file never leaves your device. A few conversions the browser cannot do (anything to PDF, PDF to Word, RTF, ODT, EPUB and PPTX output, Opus audio, PSD) run on our server: those tiles carry a small cloud icon, the upload is deleted right after conversion, the result is reachable only through your private link and it is deleted within 24 hours.
For in-browser conversions there is no server limit — the practical ceiling is your device's memory (video up to about 800 MB). Conversions that run on our server accept files up to 16 MB.
Yes. Add the video, choose MP3 (or WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG…) under Audio, and the sound track is extracted in your browser. You can trim it, change the bitrate or normalise the loudness under Options.
Yes. HEIC and HEIF photos are decoded in the browser and saved as JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF or any other image format — nothing is uploaded, and the photo keeps its orientation.
Yes. Pick DOCX for a PDF and the text is extracted and rebuilt as an editable document on our server. Complex layouts, columns and images do not survive exactly, because a PDF stores a picture of a page rather than a document structure. The other direction, DOCX to PDF, keeps the formatting.
Drop the PNG, choose the JPG tile and press Convert. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white by default — pick another colour under Options. Quality defaults to 92%, which is visually identical to the original.
Yes. Choose GIF for any video; under Options you can trim the clip to a few seconds, set the width, frame rate and number of colours. Animated WebP is also available and is much smaller than GIF.
Converting into a lossless format (PNG, TIFF, BMP, WAV, FLAC) keeps everything. Converting into a lossy one (JPG, WebP, AVIF, MP3, AAC, MP4) discards a little detail — the defaults here are set high enough that you will not see or hear it once, but it stacks up if you convert the same file back and forth. Convert from the original whenever you can.
Usually yes. MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV and MOV files often carry codecs a phone, TV or browser does not handle. Converting to MP4 re-encodes the video as H.264 with AAC audio — the most widely supported combination there is — which fixes the vast majority of "unsupported file" errors.
Yes. Drop any number of files or a whole folder, pick a format for each family of files (all images to WebP, all videos to MP4…), press Convert all and download everything as a single ZIP. Individual rows can still get their own format.
Yes. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP for a PDF and every page is rendered in your browser at the resolution you pick (72 to 288 dpi). One page gives you one image; several pages come as a ZIP. You can also convert images the other way into a single PDF.
Yes. The converter works in any modern mobile browser on Android and iPhone. Images, documents and data convert instantly; video conversion runs on the phone's processor, so long clips take a while — keep the tab open.
The usual causes are a damaged file, a file whose real content does not match its extension (a renamed file), or a very large video that exceeds the browser's memory. The row shows the reason; press Retry, try a smaller size or another format, or convert on the server when that option is offered.
