Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TechTools s.r.o. ("TechTools", "we", "us") that governs your use of the techtools.cz website, the tools it hosts, and the @techtools.cz email service (together, "the Service").

You must be at least 15 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.

The Service

TechTools provides a suite of free, web-based productivity tools — file converters, editors, calculators, games, communication tools, and a free @techtools.cz email service. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and business use.

• Most tools run entirely in your browser; some store data on our servers when you use account-based features.
• We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time.
• We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without uptime guarantees.

Your Account

One TechTools account signs you into every tool on techtools.cz. When you register — by form or with one-click Quick Start — you also get a matching @techtools.cz mailbox.

• You are responsible for your credentials. Quick Start generates a username and password for you exactly once — save them when shown. We cannot recover a lost Quick Start password for you automatically.
• Keep your password safe. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• One person per account. Don't share accounts or impersonate others.
• Accounts are free; we may set fair-use limits (storage quotas, rate limits) to keep the Service healthy for everyone.

TechTools Email (@techtools.cz)

Your account includes a free @techtools.cz mailbox. Because email abuse harms every user of the domain, the mailbox comes with strict anti-abuse rules:

• No spam, ever. No unsolicited bulk mail, phishing, spoofing, or mail fraud of any kind.
• Quotas and caps apply: free mailboxes have a storage quota (currently 1 GB) and daily sending limits. We may adjust these to protect the platform.
• Registration limits (such as a per-IP cap on new mailboxes) prevent mass account creation.
• Mailboxes that violate these rules may be suspended or deleted without notice — protecting the domain's deliverability for everyone comes first.
• Don't rely on a free mailbox as your only copy of critical mail — export important messages.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law, or upload, share, or send content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or contains malware;
• Send spam or phishing messages, or otherwise abuse the email service;
• Harass, threaten, or defraud anyone, or impersonate any person or organization;
• Probe, attack, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure (including scraping at abusive rates, DoS, or attempting to bypass rate limits, quotas, or security measures);
• Resell or rebrand the Service as your own.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your Content

You keep all rights to the content you create, upload, or send through the Service. You give us only the limited permission needed to operate the Service — storing, processing, transmitting, and displaying your content back to you and the people you share it with.

• You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights to use it.
• We don't claim ownership of your files, messages, notes, or other data.
• Content in expiring tools (e.g. paste sharing) is deleted on its schedule; uploaded files for conversion are deleted shortly after processing — see the Privacy Policy.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Suspension & Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the infrastructure, or create risk for the Service or other users — including, where the violation is serious (spam, illegal content, attacks), without prior notice. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of tool output, or uninterrupted availability.

• Always verify important results (conversions, calculations, generated documents) before relying on them.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechTools is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the free Service.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to give notice (for example on the website). Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep any protections granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
