The French Blood Establishment (EFS) said temperatures in its cold rooms were set to rise, but staff intervened. \"No health impact has been identified and no loss of blood products is to be reported,\" it said.\n\nRussian hacktivist groups Noname057(16) and Z-Pentest Alliance claimed to have hacked Danfoss, whose systems were used in attacks on European supermarkets, but experts do not rule out Iranian hacktivists, nation-state hackers or even teenage pranksters. Honeypots run by three security firms saw probing only from Europe; Lupovis said the activity fits Russian hacktivists or state hybrid warfare, while Sekoia also points to Iranian actors.\n\nThe affected products were poorly protected and known attack methods were already online, but researchers say the simultaneous hits point to planning and coordination. In late August, freezers at at least six US military bases were also forced into defrost mode, and authorities in several countries are investigating."}}
