The new flights bring SpaceX's total to 17 operational missions under the program.\n\nWith the award, SpaceX's cumulative earnings from the program reach $5.92 billion if all flights are completed. The contract covers ground processing, launch, in-orbit operations, return and recovery, cargo on each flight, and a docked lifeboat capability at the station.\n\nCrew-13 is expected to launch in October 2026 and Crew-14 in spring 2027. Boeing's Starliner, which had problems on its 2024 crewed test flight, is to fly an uncrewed test in the coming months, with crewed flights targeted for the third quarter of 2027. NASA says the arrangement helps it keep access to the station with two commercial partners."}}
