The animal started out heading northeast, circled completely around, and ended up facing the same direction it began.\n\nThe study, led by Dr. Anthony Romilio of the University of Queensland's Dinosaur Lab with co-author Dr. Paul Murphey of the San Diego Natural History Museum, used drone imagery to build a millimeter-scale 3D model of the entire site. That level of detail revealed something unexpected: a consistent 10-centimeter difference between the dinosaur's left and right step lengths, hinting the animal may have been limping or simply favoring one side.\n\nThe tracks date to the Late Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago, when sauropods such as Diplodocus and Camarasaurus roamed North America. The research was published in the journal Geomatics."}}
