Their Soyuz MS-28 capsule made a parachute-assisted touchdown southeast of Dzhezkazgan at 5:27 a.m. CDT after undocking from the station just over three hours earlier.\n\nThe trio spent 241 days in space, circling Earth 3,856 times and covering more than 102 million miles since launching on November 27, 2025. It was the first spaceflight for both Williams and Mikaev, and the second for Kud-Sverchkov.\n\nDuring the mission Williams carried out research supporting cancer-treatment advances and materials manufacturing, and performed two spacewalks — one to upgrade the station's solar arrays and another to replace a faulty joint on the Canadarm2 robotic arm."}}
