Facebook head Tom Alison announced the app on July 24, saying Meta wants to use AI to \"remove friction\" for people running businesses on the platform.\n\nThe app lets sellers snap a single photo and have Meta AI generate a listing title, description, price suggestion, and category in about 30 seconds. It bundles a unified inbox, inventory management, and performance insights, and syncs directly with Facebook Marketplace so new listings, messages, and edits appear there automatically.\n\nSeller targets power sellers who treat Marketplace as a side hustle or a primary income source — Meta says listing thirty items a week becomes far simpler with the tool. It is live now on Apple's App Store for US users 18 and older, with an Android version still in development."}}
